Shunmyo Masuno said it nicely when stating "being busy makes you lose heart". Stress and suppressing our true nature incl. the array of emotions we have, is what leads to Burnout, Depression, extreme overweight and Mental Health struggles. Therefore, my intention is to support you in finding your own inner peace and be able to find your heart again. When we can volume down the outside noise we can find inner peace by returning step by step to our essence. When we arrive in our heart, all of a sudden we see clearly, we feel hope and find eventually joy again. Maybe with this alone we remember again what life truly is about - following joy - and remember who we truly are and what we truly want to be and do. Thank you for being here.

Send me an email or arrange a free initial discovery call to get an understanding of your current situation. This can range from anything such as:

Finding Peace and release what needs to go

During a conversation, which usually last between 90 - 120 min. we include various parasympathetic activating methods (= calming the nervous system). Gentle body movement in alignment with the breath, breath work, tapping, mini trance inducing sessions to access the subconscious mind. We will assess and see where your lifestyle can be improved to reduce stress and gain control over your life back.

We will investigate your story, your beliefs and current situation so we know exactly what we need to work on in order to support your healing journey going forward. As coach I will not revisit your past too much but rather focus on the NOW and your future and how you can be the authority in your life. I am here to hold a space where I encourage you to not keep it together but to let go. This is a space and time where you matter the most. You can put down the mask of strength and control and allow yourself to finally be. Breathe!​

The goal is to return home to your SELF and find all the answers to your questions within - when finally finding inner peace and that sweet spot of inner calm, rest and tranquility. That is the place form which you can start to write a different story.

Understanding what is happening

The reason for landing in complete exhaustion like Burnout, feeling low energy all the time and struggling with overweight has it's root cause in the past and not so much to do with your lack of will, being weak or any other form of not "good enough". It is important to understand how you got where you are today. Because mostly you act and got this way because at one point your body thought of a mechanism to keep you safe. That could have been something like the below: 

​

  • "if I please others and put others first, then I will get love, acceptance and will be safe." 

  • "if I strive for perfection, I can't get hurt and I will receive love and recognition." Note that living a life based on beliefs like these first two examples, is a sure way into burnout and/or depression if we do not heal this part within us. 

  • if as a child you learned that eating crisps or donuts in order to calm your fear and panic then your body will call for emotional eating in stress situation because this is what your body remembers will keep you safe/make you feel safe.  We do not talk about what makes sense NOW but what the body remembers. And if the body remembers that sugar and fat can calm your nerves, then we need to work with your body.

Whatever belief and act kept us safe in the past, know this was your body and nervous system doing what it is designed to do: KEEPING YOU SAFE. The problem comes in when we start a fight against ourselves and do not realize that we are an adult now and it is safe to be YOU. But all the mental thinking will not do, if we do not release stress from the nervous system and reset it.

There is a solution to everything, but we can only change what we are aware of.

What we do has an impact on your system. Do not be surprised when your life starts changing drastically.

After a coaching session please ensure to drink sufficient water  allow yourself time to process and reflect what we have discussed and worked through. It happens that mostly just a couple of days after our session, new realizations emerge and ideas come up - just allow it all to happen. Like a lotus let your essence break through the mud. 

​

Please note: we do include the body into the session, but do not be shy or worried, you do not need to be fit, flexible or anything at all. You come as you are and I ensure everything is tailored to your needs. 

​

Expect that once you go through the mud there will be lightness, joy and more energy available.

Let's think in energy!

Everything is energy. Every living and non-living being consists of energy. Training and studying in the Eastern Traditions of Yoga, Qi Gong, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Reiki and Taoism while exploring modern Energy Medicine - for me it became a super simple equation: 

That what gives us energy minus That what takes energy from us decides over our state of well-being. If we constantly deny ourselves the foods, the people, the experiences and the things that make us feel the most alive, then trust the message we are sending home to ourselves is very clear.  Our energy is our biggest currency we have. This is why I work with energy in order to help you to restore balance and finding that inner peace within while returning to your heart again. Everything I do is with the goal to restore your lifeforce, so you have the resource you need for living the life you want.

Yin Yoga 1to1

Yin yoga is slow-paced yoga style that works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses.

It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep facia networks of the body and the meridians. Heavily influenced by Taosim and Traditional Chinese Medicine it is a great way to:

  • Increases circulation and improves flexibility

  • Calming and balancing the mind and body

  • Reducing stress and anxiety 

  • Encouraging deeper relaxation

  • Improving joint mobility

  • Bringing balance to the organs through meridian stimulation

​

Energetically, Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. 

​

Together with breath work and energy meditation this is a wonderful healing practice to restore your energy and unwind.

Yin Yoga

QiFlow Practice

Similar to Yin Yoga there is the option to combine a more active practice involving your body and breath. Mostly we try to think things through - which has its benefits - but so often we neglect our body and nervous system in the process.  

​

QiFlow is a combination of Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, QiGong and Fitness Training. Activating different muscles in a low-impact way while including stretches, breath work and moving meditation. 

​

It is a more active form of stress and tension release, while promoting feelings of calm, inner harmony, and clarity of mind. 

​

About my Approach

My Approach

I combine various tools from mindfulness training, life coaching, yoga philosophy, qigong, neuroscience, fitness training, positive psychology and energy medicine. I love to think outside the box and see each individual as a very special unique expression. What works for one does not work for the other. I work very body-oriented as your body is the key to heal and reset your nervous system. You might know already your thoughts decide over your feelings, and your feelings over your decisions and choices which then leads to the experiences you eventually make. This alone reinforces your believes you have about yourself and ultimately how you live your life. 

Working on your mind-set is important and part of the journey. However, I am persuaded that just working on the mental plane is not enough. As Bessel Van Der Kolk wrote a whole book about it, The Body keeps the Score and as Gabor Mate explained in his work When the body says No: Your Body remembers, the pain, the shame and so much more. In order to release the emotional load I find merging energy medicine with Neuro-physiology to create wonders. Releasing tension and stuck emotions while resetting the nervous system, brings not only deep cell healing but also creates the space for lasting change. And this is where you can come to realize that you have the power over your life. You had it within you all along - just maybe you forgot about it and now is the time to remember and take charge of it NOW.
